Ray Schallom III is a shotcrete application specialist and President of RCS Consulting & Construction Co. Inc. He has over 45 years of experience as a Project manager, Owner; and Superintendent. Ray works with State DOT’S departments Municipal Sewer Districts with their shotcrete specifications/QC  trains engineering companies inspectors in the field of shotcrete application and QC.

Ray is a Past President of the American Shotcrete Association, Past Chair of the ASA Education Committee and Underground Committees, is a member of the Publications, Education, Underground, Marketing, Sustainability, Pool & Recreational Shotcrete committees. He is also a member of ACI 506 Shotcrete Committee, C 660 Shotcrete Nozzleman Certification, C661 Shotcrete Inspector Certification and ACI 506 Subcommittees Qualification of Shotcrete for Special Projects, Specifications, Evaluation, Guide, Underground Guide Specification, Fiber Reinforced, and Pool and Spa.

With over 45 years of shotcrete nozzling experience in wet and dry-mix handheld and robotic applications, Ray is a ACI Certified Nozzleman in the wet- and dry-mix process for vertical and overhead applications, as well as an ASA-approved Shotcrete Educator, ASA-approved Shotcrete Underground Educator; and an ACI-approved Shotcrete Examiner for wet and dry applications. He is also a member of ASTM Committee C09, Concrete and Concrete Aggregates, and Subcommittee C09.46, Shotcrete.
